Just a couple of days driving through the Tuscan countryside reveals that every Tuscan trope is real: rolling, green hills, cypress avenues, and medieval stone towns. Our tour took us through the Val D'Orcia with stops in Montepulciano, Pienza, San Quirico, Montalcino, and the more famous towns in the north: Siena, San Gimignano, and Volterra.
