Zurich is not quite the stale and cold city that it is sometimes made out to be (it's not Oslo). I enjoyed the atmosphere and character of the old town. Not far away, along the lakes, I hiked up to the town of Stoos and did the Fronalpstock cliff hike. The views over the lakes were incredible as well as the view of the snowy peaks to the south.
