Summer 2025 Begins: Hiking in the Albanian Alps

With the boys heading directly to San Francisco as the summer began, Taking advantage of a couple weeks together, Ash and I took a drive to the Albanian Alps, with a focus on the famous trail connecting the mountain villages of Valbona and Theth. It is safe to say that it is difficult to find places that feel this authentically pastoral in most of Europe. Both villages are amazing and the Dinaric Alps views spectacular. On either end of the trip, we had some days in Montenegro and on the Croatian coast.
