In the very southwestern corner of Switzerland, the fabled Matterhorn stands at 4478 meters above the car-free, timber ski resort of Zermatt. A perfect alpine destination? I think so. The Edelweiss Trail showcases the best views and cultural heritage of the valley. I was very excited to knock this incredible place off of my bucket list.
