During our March holiday, we took a short trip to the northeastern Latvia, a region far from everything, protecting some of Latvia's purest wilderness. Focusing on the hilly forests of Veclaicene and the northern Gauja River in Ziemelgauja, we had a beautiful few days of hiking and history.
