This past half year, we have been hiking many more of the trails in the Sigulda area. One of our favorite discoveries has been the Kubesele trail which begins at the historic Krimulda Lutheran Church and continues towards the Gauja River, following a beautiful creek with footbridge after footbridge crossing it's meandering journey through the forest. We've done the hike both winter and spring and, in any season, it is stunning!
