Merry Christmas from Riga!

Signs that Christmas is just around the corner are all around us -- the boys are singing Christmas Carols at school shows, the Old Town Christmas market is in full swing, and we often wake up to find some snow on the ground.  An early Merry Christmas to all as we are off to Morocco this evening. Dauderi and Piejuras Dabas Park

In the northern suburbs of Riga Center can be found the old Dauderi manor house, one of few historic mansions remaining and open to the public within the city. After visiting this hidden gem, we ventured even further north to where the Daugava River meets the Baltic Sea in Piejuras Dabas Park.
