Hockey Night in Latvia!

Our first family visit to the ledus halle (ice hall) in Marupe was a big success! This will be a frequent activity and, hopefully, before we know it, we'll have a couple hockey players on our hands.

Morning Bike Ride

There's a great trail that follows the rail line from way out here in the countryside where we live, right into Riga. Fourteen kilometers through forest, old neighborhoods, and across the "guitar bridge" is a wonderful way to get into the city and an even better way to spend an hour early in the morning!
