Summer Travels - Kiev

Making the most of a connecting flight from Tbilisi back to Riga, we planned in a two day layover in Kiev. Whereas we had all kinds of expectations and hopes for Iceland and Georgia, we really had no idea what to expect in Kiev which was good because this allowed this city to surprise and impress us.
Although huge, the old center feels small, green, and international. Kiev is a wonderful city.
