In the heart of Georgia is the birthtown of one of the 21st centuries most important figures. Before he became the "Ironman" Stalin, he was born Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili in the town of Gori. Before he turned 20, he was already a communist revolutionary. At the museum devoted to him, they try their very best to focus on Stalin's positive contributions to history with just passing references to the millions that died under his regime in his later years. It was certainly a fascinating place to visit.
