Fall Bike Ride

Now that our bikes have arrived, we can finally get out there for some family bike rides! Although the weather has been cooling down, there are still plenty of nice days to enjoy and, while some of the fall color remains, things couldn't be more beautiful!

Luna

While Grandma and Grandpa were visiting, the boys had the big responsibility of taking care of a pet. The pet was Luna, our friends' dog, who needed a home while they were away for the mid-semester break. Rai and Ko were great guardians and really enjoyed taking care of Luna. She was right at home at our place, too.

One cannot come to Latvia and not see the countryside that is on Riga's doorstep. There's so much to see and the rural beauty of Latvia is unmatched. And, a good place to start is Gauja National Park with it's two gems: Cesis and Sigulda. The Fall was definitely a great time to get out here!
