Beach Days are Limited

Now that Fall is here, the beach days of summer are behind us. Still, whenever the weather cooperates, we head straight for the beach where a campfire always awaits us. Recently we visited the beach on either side of the Lielupe River. On one side is the far east end of Jurmala, on the other: the island of Daugavgriva. Both offer some great secluded dunes and beaches. We couldn't feel further from the city when out here...
