Rai is 71 Months Old!

A Big Milestone for Rai: Riding a Bike!

Today, Rai asked me to take the training wheels off of his bike. I wasn't convinced that he was ready but, I shouldn't have doubted Rai. He's cautious and doesn't ask to do something until he has carefully evaluated the risk involved. He did it!

 

 

The Big Show

The second half of Rai's Kindergarten year is focused on the ocean. He has learned a lot about the ocean and ocean life. Today, led by his teacher and dance teacher, his group put on a special performance at the Academy of Sciences. It was wonderful!

Camping at Samuel P. Taylor State Park

Another month, another camping trip!  This time, we invited Rai's and Ko's new friends from just a few buildings over:  Sophie and Ben. Great fun was had by all kids and adults alike!

Grandma Turns the BIG 7-0 !

Grandma may be 70, but she looks 50, and is 20 years younger than that at heart. For our time with Grandma for this milestone birthday, we focused on what's most important: being together, playing in the grass, and enjoying the beauty of the nature in the Presidio. Thank you today, and every day, for being such an important part of our lives and the lives of our boys!

Rai's Kindergarten Update

Still loving it. Still going on awesome field trips all the time. This is the kindergarten experience we were hoping Rai would get and he's getting it! Even after we've passed the 100th day of school!
