This afternoon, we received an unexpected phone call. Apparently, our Honda CR-V had been caught passing through a red light by a red light camera. Typically, this would be a routine

procedure -- a photo and ticket would be sent by mail. However, upon closer inspection, the photo of our car revealed something odd, something that warranted a phone call from the San Francisco Police Department. Not only had our Honda passed through a red light, it was also clear in the photo that it had been taken out for a joy ride. The passenger was not buckled in and was actually

standing up with their head out the sunroof! Worse yet, the driver was a toddler under the age of two.
That's right, Rai and Ko, instead of playing outside like they had told us they were doing, had slipped away with the keys to the car and took it for a little joyride in downtown S.F. I guess this is something that all parents deal with at some point, but we didn't expect to see this happen until the boys were teenagers. I guess all that "play driving" that both Rai and Ko have been doing lately gave them some ideas. We'll have to hide our keys...
