The third birthday parties for all of Rai's little buddies continue and today we attended another
one. This one, however, was different. We weren't in a community center, we were inside an exclusive, members-only clubhouse. There wasn't a playground outside, there was a golf course, the course that will host this summer's U.S. Open. There wasn't a table of snacks, there was a hot, catered lunch. There wasn't a stereo with children's cds, there was the Bay Area's premier balloon artist/magician entertaining the kids. What a party and, as many of us parents agreed, the bar has been raised. We've got about a month until Rai's 3rd birthday party. If we can find the right event planner on board, that may be just enough time to get his party organized.
