Weekend in Marin

We seem to be spending more and more Saturdays and Sundays in Marin. With redwoods, forests, lakes, hills, creeks, waterfalls, incredible coastal bluffs, and beautiful small towns -- why wouldn't anyone want to spend their weekends in Marin?! On Saturday, we hiked up King Mountain from a trailhead in Larkspur. Trees flowering in yellow made this a memorable hike. Later that afternoon, we hiked around Phoenix Lake. On Sunday, we hiked to Cascade Falls in Fairfax. With walks like these literally out people's doorsteps in Marin, it's no wonder that this county is one of the most amazing this State has to offer.
