Concentrating on the eight countries that border Serbia, we had plenty to explore over our first three years living here. This year, we decided to travel a little further afield, adding Italy to the list. Our long winter holiday gave us the time to explore a good part of central Italy. Our focus: Umbria and Toscana but, along the way, a little bit of Emilia Romagna and Veneto along the way. We began with Ljubljana, then Treviso, the birthplace of tiramisu.
