Upgrade to a New Model

Rai, you know that I'm not one to trade in an old model for the new model. Just look at our car. It will take a superhuman effort to pull that sap-covered, rusting, dirty, dented, and dying automobile out of my hands. If I have my way, it will be your first car.
Considering that, you probably thought we'd never upgrade your current ride either. Your stroller remains unchanged but the carrier we use to carry you around in was recently upgraded. We began with some simple slings, then the Baby Bjorn, then moved up to the Ergo carrier. None of those was to your liking. So, here we are with the latest offering: the MEC backpack carrier. In it, you're not all crushed up against our chests, you're nice and high, and you can look around in every direction. In other words, you love it!
Finally your Dad was willing to get the new model of something... or was he? Hmm... does hand-me-down count as an upgrade? You've got your Aunt Ewa and Uncle Ryan to thank for this one. They brought it down all the way from Canuckaland. Thanks!

  1. We have an MEC too which was loaned to us on condition that we never give it away unless back to the owners. It's really nice and Sara loves it too! Next time you come to Winnipeg, the kids should ride on them when we go for walks! :)

P/s: Thanks for the Xmas pic!
