Years in the Making

This past weekend, Rai, an event took place that we've been waiting a long, long time for. Really, you could say that we've been waiting a lifetime for this day to come. Sure, I'm talking about the length of your lifetime, but that's still a lifetime, isn't it? Well, actually, we've been waiting even longer than your lifetime -- probably something more like four or five of your lifetimes.
The event in question was a visit made to The City by your Great Aunt and Uncle from Pleasanton. For years, we've made the journey to their side of the Bay and have always mentioned that they should make a trip over our way. We've placed subtle hints and made formal invitations yet, it never happened.
Last weekend, however, it did happen. They made it. The visit reminded us yet again that we have entered the phase of our lives when people visit us not for us but for you and that's just fine with us. Your charm, charisma, smile, and laugh are irresistible. Like a modern day Helen, you are the face that sailed one vehicle from Pleasanton to S.F. Remarkable.
