Little Squirt

We had to put this sequence of photos up not only because you've got your cute, little "Little Squirt" shirt on, not only because you're so cute, not only because I need something, anything, to meet my daily post to the blog quota, but because seen in order, the three photos showcase an important emerging part of your personality.
The first photo shows you at your most typical: happy, excited, engaged with the person playing with you. You can't get enough of interacting with others and you'll take some play time with Mom, Dad, Grandma or Grandpa over the biggest, most interesting stack of toys any day!
The second photo shows you in your 'determined' mode. More and more, you're showing us that you're a tenacious little guy who knows what he wants and will not quit until he gets it. You often set your sights on the object of your desire and take on the 'I'm ready for action' pose that can be seen in this photo. Nowadays, this usually includes you standing, using a table or chair for support and advancing towards your prey like a lion in the wild.
The third photo captures you in a 'frustrated' moment. This usually occurs when you've taken on the determined approach described in the second photo and then realized that you don't yet quite have the motor or muscle skills to accomplish what you've set out to do. This resembles the classic scenario of imaging a beautiful sketch on the canvas that is your mind's eye and then attempting to draw that image and failing dramatically. Frustration. It's part of life. Deal with it, persevere through it and always find that reserve of determination deep within no matter how many times you fall.
