Winter Wonderland

During Thanksgiving, we got our first snow at the cabin, a first taste of the beauty of winter in the Sierra. Over the Christmas holiday, we had enough time to really soak in the details and appreciate winter life in the mountains. It's an incredibly beautiful experience. Rai, you too had many moments of awe as you curiously took in the scenes of endless white all around you.
One morning, we rushed to the bathroom as we could hear your Grandpa exclaiming, "Wow. That's incredible. I've never seen anything like it!"
Like a prism, snowflakes on the ground scattered the early morning sunlight resulting in crystals sparkling in every color of the rainbow. Amazing.
