Growth Spurt

All our sources tell us that, in these first months, we shouldn't worry to much about establishing a feeding schedule with you. 'Feed on demand' is what we've read and been told. We followed that advice. You demanded. We fed you. You demanded some more. We fed you some more.
Well, Rai, I think that all this feeding on demand has gone to your head - figuratively and literally. Yes, you do know that we are at your beck and call but, more astoundingly, your physical head has grown tremendously too!
Your body has grown too, of course, but spending countless hours staring at your face, we are flabbergasted by how quickly your head and face have grown and changed. Today, we got a really tangible clue as to just how much your head has expanded. While in the park it got a little chilly so we pulled out that cute, grey, knitted hat of yours and tried to put it on your head. It's been at least a month since we've put this hat on you and, much to our shock, it was a struggle to stretch the hat over your big head.
Back in the day (only a month or so ago!) this hat was way too big on you. It would sit loosely on your head and if we pulled it down tight, it could come down below your nose. Today, we could hardly get it halfway down your forehead and it barely reached your ears. The two photos are a before and after of you wearing the cute hat that will soon be nothing more than a sock or slipper for you.
Considering the growth in height, width and mass you've made in such a short period of time, we can't believe that we can't actually see your limbs growing right in front of us!
