Just 30 minutes south of Belgrade, Mt.Avala is the closest "mountain" to the city and the perfect place to go to do some hiking in the forested hills. The communications tower that was destroyed during NATO bombing in the '90s has been rebuilt with pride and gives some incredible views over the countryside.
