Serbia is, truly, a country of canyons. Every river seems to have a portion that passes through deep, granite cliffs. When researching the country before moving here, one canyon that stood out for me was Lazar's Canyon both for its beauty and its remoteness. It is out of the way and it is not as easy to access the rim of the canyon as other more notable spots in Serbia. The views from that rim, however, are outstanding and well worth the long hike up!
