In the eastern mountains of Serbia, on the highway into Bosnia and Hercegovina, is the town of Mokra Gora. Once an important mining center, the town has capitalized on its historic narrow gauge railway line that completes and improbably figure 8 loop as it travels up the mountainside. Definitely re-developed for tourism, it is an exceptionally beautiful spot with a beautiful collection of traditional, wooden architecture.
