Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

The early morning hours of this Saturday morning were spent chasing you around the house, Rai, as you ran around wildly waving and throwing markers all over the place. The lids were on tight so we had little to worry about. The bigger concern were those inky footprints you were leaving behind as you ran away from us! We followed your trail, wiping madly before that ink could set in the hardwood.
We had pulled out these favorite art supplies of yours to create the latest cute, homemade outfit for you. As we had done before, we had you make prints of your hands and feet on a bright, white onesie. Today is Grandpa's birthday and there's nothing he would enjoy more than seeing you in this cute outfit made especially for this special day.
We can already see that you'd like to find an excuse to do this every day. Getting marker and ink all over everything is so much fun, isn't it?! This is one tradition we can see continuing until you're well into your teens. Unfortunately, a fifteen year-olds feet prints may not look as cute as a one year olds.
