And the Gender is...

Months of anxious waiting came to an end today as we went in for that life-changing, life-determining sonogram this afternoon. Today was the day we would find out the gender of our next child.
This time, however, we had more to think about than ourselves. The gender of this next baby will also have a profound impact on you, Rai, won't it? If it's a boy, you'll have a friend for life. Someone to play with, someone to share boyhood and manhood dreams with. If it's a girl, you can be the protective and caring older brother, always looking out for her while learning how to interact properly with girls. Either way, you'll learn so much and, I believe, each will strongly influence who you will grow up to be.
So, rather than feeling caged in, forgotten while the new baby gets all the attention, we want you to look upon this as a great opportunity and responsibility. You will be an older brother and role model for a younger sister or brother. You have a big job and lots of fun ahead of you.
