No Place Like your Mother's Arms

Rai, you have an incredible mother.
Almost three months into the marathon of sleepless nights that is life with a newborn, your Mom continues to give you the love and patience that she had for you on the first day she held you in her arms. All those nights of interrupted sleep have done nothing to test her patience and resilience. If anything, at your 2 a.m. feeding call, I've seen her response grow into an even more loving and nurturing one. At the first sound of your smacking lips and tiny whimpers, she is up and reaching out to you. In her arms, she comforts you and whispers to you. She shows no symptoms of one who has just been awoken from her few hours of precious sleep.
During the day, your Mom wants to spend every moment with you and can't wait to see you again those few times you are apart. There is no love like a mother's love and with all the love shared between you and your Mom, there's no safer and more comfortable place for you to fall asleep at the end of the day.
