Morphy Visit: Days 3-6 - Yosemite National Park

As we entered the Valley, we wondered why we had waited 5 years to return to the Park. With my family, we had decided to spend 3 nights in Yosemite National Park, California's greatest Park and one of the grandest in all of America.
The best of the 4 entrances to the Park is the one that directs you through a tunnel as you enter Yosemite Valley. Coming out of the tunnel, an unparalleled view of Yosemite Valley opens up in front of you. Known as Tunnel View, it is a perfect introduction to the wonders that await the visitor within the Valley.
Rai, at Tunnel View, with El Capitan in the foreground, Bridal Veil Falls to the right, and Half Dome in the distance, you got so excited that you got on your feet and started to jump around and talk. That's what you do when you're especially happy.
A few days later, you were doing the same at Glacier Point, the other panoramic vista point overlooking the Valley but from even higher ground.
