Sodermalm

The island just south of central Stockholm was once known as Knivsoder ("Knife" Soder) for a visit there was likely to end with robbery at knifepoint. Gentrification has long changed the island into a trendy part of town, one where we felt a more authentic vibe than we had in the old town which was geared mostly to tourists. And, the Old Town views from here? Unbeatable!
