Italy's Dolomiti are split between two provinces. After finishing with the Trento region, I continued east into Veneto province. Lauki and I took some great walks at several mountain passes capping our hikes off with one of the best in the Dolomites: the hike around the Tre Cime peaks near Misurina. With that, my week in the Dolomiti had come to an end and I was headed back south, through Belluno to Riva del Garda on the beautiful Lago di Garda, then into Verona to catch up on my Shakespeare. Heading east, a short stop in Soave, a half day in Padua, then, obviously, into Venice.
