With the mountains in sight, there was only one obstacle between Lauki and I and the respite from the heat that comes with altitude. With several visits to Italy behind me, I finally ventured to the heart of Lombardia province, Italy's financial capital: Milan. Some love it, some hate it. I came primarily to see it's famous Duomo. In, out, a quick operation. From there, it was straight for the lakes. Couldn't miss Lago di Como, of course (didn't find Clooney) but settled in at Lago di Iseo for a few days where I was warmly welcomed by old friends...
