When our neighborhood parks are not quite enough, and we need to get a little further afield, we jump on our bikes and ride the river path to Ada Ciganlija, the Sava River island where Belgrade goes to play. Coming onto Ada, it's hard to miss the Ada Stonehenge. Landlocked, Serbs are desperate for some coastline so they've done their best to create some city beaches at Ada Lake. If you squint hard enough, you may be fooled into thinking that you're somewhere on the Adriatic Coast.
