Summer in Australia - Day 21: The Capital Territory

Somewhere in the mountains between Melbourne and Sydney is the compromise capital of Australia. The rivalry between the two big cities was so strong that neither could be the capital. Canberra is a completely planned city and it feels like it. The result is a very institutional feeling place but worth the visit for its museums, Anzac Memorial and for a taste of political life in Australia.
