On this hot and humid Saturday, we began with a visit to the St.Norbert Farmer's Market. It was a great
way to see the fine line that divides the urban and the rural in Winnipeg. Lucky for us, just as the heat was about the melt Rai down, we arrived at the local "splash park". The kids had a great time, and we had a chance to relax in the shade for a bit before moving on to more shade at Babcia and Dziadek's place. That evening, we were ready to be reminded that we were still in a thriving city, one full of history and culture. We spent a few hours in Old Market Square, at the outdoor stage for Winnipeg's 25th Annual Fringe Festival, the second largest independent theater festival in all of North America. Uncle Bart was quickly snagged from the audience to participate in the show on stage and so was born "The Amazing Bart"!
