We began this day by getting all the boys together again. All separated by 9 months, Rai, Cole, and Kotaru
are the perfect trio. It's the cutest thing to see them interact and follow each other around. On this day, coincidentally I should add, we had them all wearing their identical Winnipeg Jets t-shirts. After many years away, the Jets are finally back in Winnipeg. Winnipeggers definitively displayed their love for the Jets by buying up 13,000 4-year season tickets for the Jets in under an hour when the tickets were first offered. The remaining 3,000 seats in the brand-new arena sell out every game. With a display of spirit such as this, I'm left wondering why the "Spirited Energy" Manitoba promotional campaign never caught on. On the other hand, the "Spirit Woods" certainly have. This is an immensely popular and loved local trail along the Seine River. Walking the trail in the evening, passing carvings left in the trees by a local woodcarver, we quickly learned why this trail is so well loved.
