Most of Jurmala is filled with historic wooden cabins and old estates so we hadn't yet made the effort to walk around Dubulti's historic quarter, not far from us. However, when joining some friends for dinner at a Georgian restaurant a few weeks ago, we found ourselves in this quarter and were impressed by some of the grand, old homes. Returning in the daytime, we were able to get a better look and enjoy the walk out to the beach.
