Rai Thinks He's Older Than He Really Is

Yesterday, for the first time in a couple of months, we met with some of the Moms and toddlers in our Golden Gate Mothers Group. It was great to see some of your little friends, Rai, to see how much they've changed and to see them all walking around and making some noise. All have gone from infants to toddlers in just a short amount of time.
Not according to you, though. Nope, Rai, you think that they're all still babies. In your eyes, they're all still little babies, unchanged since their first month. You, however, are all grown up. Toddler? No, older than that. You seem to think that you're well into adolescence while all your other friends are still babies. You spent all your time with your buddies calling them all 'baby' (one of your favorite new words).
This confusion about your actual age extends all the way up to nine or ten year olds. You seem to think that you're older than them, too. You call them 'baby' too. They laugh, letting you carry on your little farce.
