Cheesehead

In an attempt to demean and demoralize their rivals, Illinois sports fans coined the term 'cheesehead' for Wisconin fans. Their attempt to create a derogatory term backfired on them. Wisconsin fans embraced the new moniker and a symbol of Wisconsin sports was born: the cheesehead hat. These days it's impossible to attend a Wisconsin sporting event, especially Green Bay Packers games without seeing those triangular blocks of cheese floating on heads all around you.
This week, Rai, you became a cheesehead. While at Lake Tahoe, Grandma and Grandpa did their usual thrift store circuit of the lake and came back with many treasures, one of which was an authentic cheesehead hat. It doesn't take you long to discover and explore anything new in the house so you quickly found the cheesehead hat and to start wearing it around house.
It didn't stop there. Recognizing the hat for what it is, you booked the next flight to Wisconsin, found an adoptive family, and joined them for a Packers game. Just when we started to wonder where you were, you sent us this photo. You know, Rai, the memory of your shenanigans with Nick Nolte in Florida are still fresh in our minds. And now, this. Lucky for you, with that cheese on your head, you're easy to forgive.

  1. I can't believe my eyes, Little Dude. A Packers fan? Say it isn't so.
