exhibits and, predictably, your favorites were those involving water and sand. And what goes better with water and sand than a beach ball? The beach ball exhibit is one that shows how air pressure can suspend spherical objects in space. In other words, moving air funneled through a cone or pipe is enough to make a light ball float like magic! You loved the exhibit until you figured out that that floating beach ball was just out of
reach. At that moment, I'm certain that at least half the museum's guests heard your tearful, frustrated yell."BALL.. ?!!!"
Some taller kids helped you get the ball and you quickly ran away with it, hiding out in the nearby gift shop. Those same kids didn't look too happy. They were hoping to get a turn trying out the amazing floating ball trick but now, there was no ball. Don't worry, I told them to just go play in the water and sand exhibits nearby. They'll get over it.
