Out of Country Visitors

Once in a while, Rai, we get visitors who have come from a little further than the other side of San Francisco. Some visitors drive long distances to come here and others even fly by plane to visit California (and us!). This past weekend, you may remember, we had a couple visiting us who had traveled by land all the way from Rio de Janeiro!
My old friend Craig and his girlfriend Emma have been on this journey through the Americas since June of last year. After months on buses, they finally arrived in San Francisco, ready to enjoy some of the 'comforts of home' (home is London) following more than half a year in South and Central America.
It was great to see my old friend, to meet his girlfriend, and to have a couple kindred spirits spend a couple days with us. Rarely do we meet others who have traveled so much and who share a similar perspective as us on life and the world. So, if you're a world traveler and reading this, we call on you: come visit us in the City by the Bay! Rai, in the future, be ready to give up your room to a dirty, backpack carrying traveler or two.
