Although Rai can barely utter a few syllables, he has already found ways, often subtle, to tell us what he wants and needs. The latest hint he has been throwing around is that he wants us to buy a house. To make us painfully aware of the fact that we rent, he's been carrying around and flashing that little toy house of his, left and right. "Come on, Mom and Dad, every family owns a house. It's just what families do..."
We're not sure where he's gotten this desire from but, I'd guess it has something to do with the fact that the playgroup that he is part of includes a bunch of Moms and Dads who are about 2 or 3 times more (let's just say it) wealthy than we are and who live in beautiful homes all over the city.
Rai, if everyone was jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge, would you?
If it were made of Lego's, our Rai would not only jump off of it, he would.............well, you can imagine. Especially after what happened to Lego man recently.
