Denmark is a country of islands, 406 in total. Heading east from the Jutland peninsula, in the direction of Copenhagen, the next of Denmark's "big" islands is Funen. Although we spent just two days on this island, we managed to get around a little. We began in the Funen village before continuing in Odense, the historic home of Hans Cristian Andersen, and then making our way south to Egeskov Castle. Along the southern end of Funen, we visited Faaborg, Svendborg, and Tasinge and Langeland Islands.
