In Denmark, all roads lead to Copenhagen. It was just a matter of time before we ended up here. Heading to Sweden, Copenhagen was almost unavoidable. Well, now it sounds like we were trying to avoid Copenhagen. Not at all. We had just become used to small towns and the countryside and, after weeks of that, this big city was a bit of a shock. Scandinavian capitals could not be more pleasant, though, so our two days in Copenhagen were fantastic. It was great to return here after about 17 years. One change: even more bike lanes! Another change: Cristiania seems to have less focus on simple, earth-based living and much more on marijuana these days. Thankfully, unlike the last time we were here, our budget wasn't so tight so Ko and I could enjoy something that we were unable to do last time. We braved the outdoor, spiral staircase climbing up the tower of the Vor Frue Church. What a view -- what a memory!
