Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

Way up in a hard to get to north west corner of Singapore Island is the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. It's a wonderful place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and there are animals to see a plenty. Within our first minute in the park, we spotted some sleeping bats. Then, some huge monitor lizards, lots of mudskippers (such an interesting animal!), a crocodile, turtles, a pit viper, and many birds, large and small! That, combined with a wonderful trail system makes this park a very easy place to visit. We love this park!
