Kristaps Porzingis is a national hero here. Latvians love their basketball and seeing one of their own playing in the NBA, for the Knicks is a like a dream come true for many here. But, it's summer time and the Knicks are terrible so many were even more excited to see Kristaps represent their nation in the Euro championships of basketball. We were lucky enough to catch his very first game in a Latvian National jersey and, even better, it was a game versus Poland! Go, Latvia! Go, Polska! By the way, Latvia won!
