About halfway up the west shore of Lake Tahoe, just past Meeks Bay is Sugar Pine Point State Park.
Like Tallac, it's a luxurious, historic summer home that has been turned into a beautiful public space. The historic home here is one of the most amazing stone and timber cabins along Tahoe's shores. It really demonstrates just how luxurious a getaway and how exclusive Lake Tahoe was less than a century ago. Better than all that, we got to meet up with our old friend Cassie, who currently teaches at the King's Academy in Jordan. And, the boys, got their third beach day in a row.
