Happy Fathers' Day!

It was an especially wonderful Fathers' Day here at the cabin as Grandma and Grandpa came to visit! While at the Railroad Museum in Carson City a while back, we noticed that they planned to roll out the one-of-a-kind McKeen Car for Fathers' Day so we decided that this would be a special way to spend the afternoon and, it was! This restored train is truly the nicest any of us has ever ridden on. Originally built in 1910, this is the only of the 200 or so McKeen cars that had an engine, and the only one that has been restored. It's in the process of being recognized as a National Landmark and is only brought out for rides twice each year. All fathers, mothers, and kids were happy today -- what a treat!
