We had a perfect last day at the cabin. We spent several hours at the hotsprings followed by dinner

at the hottest restaurant in Markleeville town: Stone Fly. I guess it's not tough to be the hottest restaurant in town when there's only two other places to get food with opening hours that are sporadic or summer only!

Stone Fly, however, is something pretty glamorous for this town of 160 people. It's a brand new restaurant in a brand new building built right at the T-junction in town. A new building and a new restaurant in this town is something incredibly exciting so Stone Fly is by reservation

only and is booked up every weekend. Rai was talking about the logged-fired oven pizza at this place all week but, when it came down to it he probably enjoyed watching the pizza being made more than actually eating it. And, at these prices, this isn't exactly a pizza joint we'll be frequenting while here this summer. Besides, Rai spent most of his time outside feeding bones to the dog roaming the patio. Oh, and did we mention that this was Kotaru's first time in the hotsprings? What a day!
