What Would We Do Without Your Grandparents?

Rai and Ko, there are two people in your lives that love you more than you could ever know and, without whom, your lives would be so much different. No, I'm not talking about us (although we play a marginally important role in your lives, as well). I'm writing about your grandparents. Boys, your Mom can't imagine how she could have survived these past 2 months without their help. For weeks after you were born, Ko, your brother Rai kept spending days with your grandparents although Mom was no longer working. Even now, two months later, Rai, your grandparents continue to take you for the afternoons. What a help they have been, not just these past 2 months, but for your entire 20 months, Rai!
Best of all, they don't just watch you for the afternoons, Rai, they teach and entertain you. They read to you, they act for you, they dance and sing for you. Wow! The weekly routine includes music class, afternoons at the zoo, visits to the Academy of Sciences and the Bay Area Discovery Museum, walks on the beach and in Golden Gate Park, and wanderings through other museums and galleries. Could you have it any better? I think not. You better realize what you have in those wonderful grandparents of yours and thank them as often as you can. With grandparents like these, you have no where to go but up in this world! Thank you!

  1. Thank you, Maciej and Ashley, for giving us the opportunity to be grandparents in our own neighborhood. We Love It!!!
